Laban's expertise in tea testing and liquoring ensures consistent quality in our product range.

Mr Shangwe has great understanding of tea, enabling him to contribute to the tea selection and quality control process. He has great attention to detail and a meticulous approach to problem solving. As a result he is able to identify challenges and find solutions to ensure smooth operations. He handles export documentations, tea sample preparation, online tea purchasing, blend sheet and shipping instructions preparation as well as tea testing and liquoring. His expertise in tea testing and liquoring ensures consistent quality in our product range.

Mr. Jim Kinyanjui

Systems Administrator

Jim is the System administrator, handling the entire Gridwise ICT infrastructure as well as supporting the web assets. He holds a Degree in IT from Jomo Kenyatta University. He is skilled in ICT systems administration, Networking and hardware maintenance and support with over 10 years’ experience. We rely on him to ensure that our ICT systems are working in top notch condition.

Mr. Gershom Njogu

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Gershom is an experienced, accomplished Marketing executive with a background in Project Management

Mr. Njogu has extensive experience in brand management and marketing strategies, specifically in the tea industry with an experience of over 2 years. Gershom is an experienced, accomplished Marketing executive with a background in Project Management specializing in the tea industry. He is an exceptional communicator, and project manager. He ensures that Gridwise Intl teas are marketed to the world and ensures a good quality experience for the end buyer.

Extensive knowledge of the tea industry including tea cultivation, processing and trading with an experience of over 10 years. Mr. Musa has Strategic leadership skills with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability. He has a strong understanding of market trends and dynamics, enabling effective decision making and market positioning. He also has experience in establishing and nurturing key partnerships with tea producers, suppliers, and buyers. He is proficient in identifying and capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the tea market.

Managing Director

Extensive knowledge of the tea industry including tea cultivation, processing and trading with an experience of over 10 years. Mr. Musa has Strategic leadership skills with a proven track record of driving business growth and profitability. He has a strong understanding of market trends and dynamics, enabling effective decision making and market positioning. He also has experience in establishing and nurturing key partnerships with tea producers, suppliers, and buyers. He is proficient in identifying and capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the tea market.

Chief Operations Officer

Mr. Willbegiven has a deep understanding of the tea supply chain management including procurement, quality control and logistics spanning over 10 years. He has a proven ability to optimize operations, streamline processes and enhance efficiency. He is also experienced in developing and implementing robust systems for tea procurement, storage, and distribution. He has expertise in managing tea estates, ensuring sustainable and ethically sourced tea production, strong negotiation and relationship building skills, ensuring reliable and high quality supply.
